Olympic Commercial & Residential Repair, L.L.C. d/b/a Olympic Construction ("Olympic") is in the business of building new constructions and restoring hurricane-damaged residential, industrial, and commercial properties, as well as performing general contracting work for commercial, industrial and residential projects. Further, Olympic serves as a subcontractor for large residential projects. In 2007, Mr. Maurice Hurst purchased a majority interest in Olympic. Mr. Hurst brings his business experience as an executive in the NFL and experience in construction and development of residential property in the Greater New Orleans area to Olympic. Mr. J. Douglas Sunseri purchased a minority interest in Olympic. Mr. Sunseri provides 21 years of legal experience in business and construction to Olympic. Olympic is increasingly specializing in governmental construction and renovation contracts for federal, state and municipal governments. Also, Olympic performs new construction, renovation and repair in the private sector.

The federal government has allocated billions of dollars for the rebuilding of residences, businesses, and government buildings and infrastructure in Southeast Louisiana in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Gustav. Approximately 40% of the federal funding is set aside for Small Business registered with the SBA.

Recently, Olympic received its certification as an 8(a) Disadvantage Business Enterprise firm as per the federal government and SBA. Approximately 3% of all federal contracts are set aside for 8(a) SDB companies. Further, Olympic is certified as a Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) and State and Local Disadvantage Business Enterprise (SLDBE) in the State of Louisiana. 

The State of Louisiana sets forth goals for utilizing DB firms. Specifically, the State of Louisiana seeks to have 30% state funds from contracts to be allocated to DBE firms.
